Products and Services Overview
PINS is a full service, Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Internet Service Provider (ISP). We use our own switches, routers and servers to provide customized, fully redundant, telephone, Internet and data services for clients needing services at a single location, as well as clients with multiple locations that must be interconnected to each other and to the worldwide telephone (PSTN) and data (Internet) networks.
Voice Systems
Clients may choose to use our full-array of PINS-hosted services, where all equipment needed (PBX, servers, etc.) is located and maintained at PINS (or a secure telephone closet in your building), or Client-based services where the equipment is located at your site(s), with your IT staff being responsible for equipment maintenance and replacement. Either way, PINS will provide the appropriate pieces necessary to make the connection between your office and the telephone (PSTN) and data (Internet ) networks.

Voice and Internet Site Configuration Options
Companies and organizations come in all different sizes and serve different customer populations, requiring correspondingly different telecommunication configurations. Site configurations can vary from one capable of handling a small staff in a single office site needing only a few phones and a couple of phone lines to permit two simultaneous phone calls, to a complex configuration capable of handling a multi-site operation with a large staff needing many multi-line phones and enough phone lines to handle twenty or more simultaneous phone calls, as well as high speed network connectivity with a large bandwidth to sustain heavy Internet usage from many computers.

Delivery of Services
Traditional telephone line (voice) service can be delivered to clients using dedicated analog POTS lines or using the digital voice over Internet protocol(VoIP). VoIP, Internet and Data services are all delivered using high speed trunk lines operating at speeds as low as 756 KBS (ADSL), to speeds as high as 100 MBS (TLS fiber) or higher, and everything in between (e.g.,T1, twinned T1, and T3).
Although the services provided by PINS are divided into three discrete categories, Telephone, Internet and Data, the same physical trunk line can usually be used to simultaneously deliver these services more efficiently and at reduced cost, depending on the specific bandwidth and speed required to meet your needs.
For example, your telephone services could be delivered over analog POTS lines, while your Internet services are delivered separately over a DSL line. However, both services could be delivered simultaneously via a T1 line, with PINS Dynamically Allocating bandwidth between telephone and Internet usage as your traffic demands change.
At no cost to you, PINS will make a careful evaluation of your needs and present you with the best options available to help you make a decision.
